Oops -  My T-shirts have already been cut...

You have always wanted to a T-shirt quilt... and at some point you or someone you know started the project... but now you know that it will never get done unless someone else finishes it. Can Too Cool T-shirt Quilts finish it? YES WE CAN.

You are not the first nor the last person to have this problem. And it is not a very big problem. We make many T-shirt quilts from T-shirts that have been cut in so many different way.

The quilt to the left was made from all sorts of different size T-shirt pieces. Less than half the pieces were able to be cut into the block sizes we use. So we mount the odd shape and small piece onto T-shirt material. You cannot tell without looking very closely that the pieces were reset for our block sizes.

Below is a close up of the same quilt... look at the pocket, the gray block to the right and the orange block to the left. You can see that these pieces were mounted onto another piece of
T-shirt material to make the block the correct size. The block with the yellow word DAY is another example. With this block, the design on the T-shirt had actually been cut off - yet we were able to save the block. Now look back at the upper left hand side of the quilt. Not a bad save.

So can we save your T-shirts? You bet. We will take your pieces and first try to cut them to fit our block sizes. If we would have to cut off any of the design to make it fit, we would then mount that piece onto another piece of T-shirt material. We will have to charge a little extra for the mounting service since it does add an additional step to the process.

So if the already cut T-shirts fits into one of our block sizes without having to cut off the design, there is no charge. If we have to mount the piece onto another piece of T-shirt material, we will charge $2.00 per block we mount. When we tell you what size the quilt will be, we will also tell you how many blocks will require mounting and the mounting charge.

This is also a great example of our quilting. We traced Stewie from the Family Guy on the front of the quilt and we then see him on the back. 

Andrea, L was on a trip and I didn't want to open it with out her.  So last night when she got  home and we opened it, we were both amazed and blown away by your work.  Incredible! Genius the way you laid it all out and fixed the pre-cut T-Shirts.  It is truly a work of art.  We would love it if you posted a picture on your site.  (I think ours is the most awesome one I've seen) but I'm partial because every T-shirt brings back a special memory for my daughter and I.  Thank you soooooooo much.  ~ M

I know everyone comments on the price but it was truly worth every penny.  We have saved those T-shirts and things for 17 years and you turned them in to a work of art.  We LOVE it!!
