Too Cool T-shirt Quilts^® is excited to announce
that we are now offering franchise opportunities!

Too Cool T-shirt Quilts^® will not be accepting new franchises until late fall 2012.

Over the past several years we have been rapidly growing and are now at the point of further expand our business through franchising. We believe there is a large undeveloped market for Too Cool T-shirt Quilts.

As a result, we are seeking sewers and/or quilters that are looking for an opportunity to run a Too Cool T-shirt Quilt International LLC franchise. This is a way to enter the T-shirt quilt market without having to spend your time learning the "how to" of making the quilts and without the strain of also learning how to run your business. We will flatten the learning curve for you. You also benefit from our nearly 20 years of experience and knowledge of making T-shirt quilts and running a top notch company. As soon as you are on line and ready, it is anticipate that business will start flowing directly to you.

Below is a brief overview of our franchise model, what we are looking for and what you can expect from us. If you are interested, please call or e-mail us and we can answer questions, provide you with the details and send you an application.

*Please note - all franchises must be located in 100% smoke free homes. Failure to comply with this term will automatically terminate any Too Cool T-shirt Quilt franchise agreement.

Franchise model

• Each franchise is independently owned and operated.
  
• All franchises will exclusively make Too Cool T-shirt Quilts®. No other type or style of T-shirt quilt will be allowed to be offered.
  
• Advertising will be predominately done by Too Cool T-shirt Quilts International®,LLC. Franchisee would be welcome to do their own local advertising, but it is not something that you are required to do.
  
• All franchises would use the same website and you will have your own individual page.
  
• There is a low initial franchise fee. Royalties will be 10% of the suggested retail price of each quilt you make.

What Too Cool T-shirt Quilts International, LLC will provide:

• Training - you will spend a week with us here in Michigan learning how to make Too Cool T-shirt Quilts and how to run your business. As you get up and going and as you operate, we will be there to help.
  
• Website - Our web sites, TooCoolTshirtQuilts.com and TshirtQuilts.biz are well established. Generally we rank in the top 5 in a Google search and most of the time we are ranked 1, 2 or 3 depending on how you spell T-shirt. You will not have to develop a web site and struggle to get it up in the ratings, get hits or customers.
  
• Advertising - Too Cool T-shirt Quilts International, LLC will do the majority of the advertising. The amount of advertising that will be done will be depend on our work flow. You will not have to do any advertising unless you choose to.
  
• Customer - Customers will come to you through the web site. It is not anticipated that you will have to spend any of your time or energy drumming up business.
  
• Artwork and logos - We will provide artwork for business cards, post cards and letterhead.
  
• A strong name and following - Too Cool T-shirt Quilts® has a great name in the world of T-shirt Quilts - people love us. This is the legacy of nearly 20 years of hard work that you will have standing behind you.

Applicants will need the following:

• Skill - applicants must have strong sewing and long arm quilting skills. We have made an enduring name for Too Cool T-shirt Quilts by making very high quality T-shirt quilts. All franchisee will be expected to have a strong attention to detail in all aspect of the quilt making process. If you are sloppy, you need not apply. As part of the application process we will want to see completed work and work in progress. It will also be very helpful if you are good at puzzles. But if you have strong sewing and organization skills and a drive to do amazing work, we can teach you the rest.
  
• Equipment - there is a significant amount of equipment that is needed. The more equipment that you have on hand, the less that you will need to purchase and thus your start up cost will be less. Here is the list of equipment you will need. Note that there may be other cost associated with starting your business such as legal and filing fees.
  
• Work Space - Too Cool T-shirt Quilt® franchises must be 100% smoke free 100% of the time. If you are a smoker or if there is a smoker in your home, please do not apply. Most franchises will work from their home. A separate location is not necessary.
  
• Time - ultimately, it would be great if this were your only job. But we realize that you might have to continue working your day job while your business takes off. Franchisees should have the goal that this will become their only job within 6 months to a year. You will love working for yourself!
